Lupita Turriff Hispanic Student Scholarship Application for High School Seniors
Open to All Future Chemists, Chemical Engineers, Environmental Engineers & High School Chemistry TeachersThe Chemical Industry Council of Illinois (CICI), is proud to announce that the Turriff Family is offering the Lupita Turriff Hispanic Student Scholarship through the Illinois Chemical Education Foundation (ICEF). This scholarship is open to all Illinois Hispanic students who are first generation students to attend college and are seeking a college degree to apply for a $2,000 Lupita Turriff Hispanic Student Scholarship Award. The ICEF’s objective is to recognize and honor high school seniors who have exemplified outstanding achievement in academics, extracurricular/employment activities and community involvement. The CICI is a non-profit association of chemical companies operating in the state of Illinois. CICI activities include a number of programs in education, environment and public affairs. CICI, through ICEF, presents a number of scholarship awards each year. ICEF invites all future chemists, high school chemistry teachers, chemical engineers and/or environmental engineers to apply for the Lupita Turriff Hispanic Student Scholarship. Please submit the following information postmarked no later than Friday, March 3, 2023, and received no later than Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

The student must be of Hispanic descent, prove academic merit and demonstrate financial need. Please note: Only the winners will be notified. We encourage all eligible students to apply for this prestigious scholarship. The winner will be notified by mail. The ICEF Scholarship Award will be presented at our 66th Annual Scholarship Luncheon. There is no limitation on the number of students that may apply at each school. |
